NAMA Announces 2017 Agri-Marketing Conference Keynote Speakers

Written by NAMA on Friday, December 2, 2016 , 10:45 am

buttonWhat do an NFL head coach, “management guru” and a survivor of a potentially deadly childhood accident have in common? Two things: Incredible leadership lessons to share from their life experiences and the distinction of being a keynote speaker at the 2017 Agri-Marketing Conference. Get ready to “Go Big” with NAMA and the exciting presenters you’ll hear in Dallas next year!

Doing the Little Things and Executing Vision
Herm Edwards

herm-edwards-web_150x150Whether it’s his faith, family or football team, Herm Edwards exudes passion in all areas of his life. A successful NFL head coach turned in-studio analyst for ESPN, Edwards has a diverse background in professional leadership, and is one of the most recognized voices in sports today.

He’ll share his life experiences and emphasize how putting the focus on teamwork, integrity and effective communication leads to an unstoppable team. Whether you’re in an executive role managing key players – or new to the game and wondering how you can make an impact – Edwards’ inspiring conversation will leave you energized and ready to tackle any challenge with confidence.

One of five head coaches in NFL history to take two different teams to the playoffs in their debut seasons with him, Edwards exemplifies the hard work and commitment it takes to create a winning environment. In his most recent coaching job, with the Kansas City Chiefs, he led the team to a 9-7 record and tied for the most victories for a first-year coach with the franchise. He also led the New York Jets to five post season contests. In this exhilarating keynote presentation, he’ll draw from his winning record to show you how the “little things” lead to big gains.

Heavily involved in philanthropic endeavors, he has been named Big Brother of the Year by the Catholic Big Brothers for Boys and Girls in New York, and named to the Positive Coaching Alliances National Advisory Committee.
