Region II Best of NAMAOver 130 people gathered at the VooDoo Lounge at Harrah’s Casino on January 22 for the Region II Best of NAMA Ceremony in Kansas City.

Hosted by the MoKan chapter of NAMA, the event honored the best work of the Rocky Mountain, Midlands, Gateway, Great Plains, Southwest and MoKan Chapters. The region had 404 entries.

First and merit awards were given in 61 categories and 3 best of shows were awarded. Best of Show Awards are as follows:Region II Best of NAMA

Carolinas/Virginia Boasts Record Attendance

A record attendance of 75 members and guests participated in the Carolinas/Virginia Best of NAMA Ceremony on January 31 at the NC State University Club in Raleigh, NC. Attendees included students from North Carolina State University and North Carolina A&T State as well as members and guests from different chapters across the U.S. and Canada.

The Carolinas/Virginia Chapter had 117 entries. Winners took home one of the biggest boot-shaped acrylic plaques produced for this year’s Carolinas/Virginia Best of NAMA Best of Show, first place and merit winners.

Region IV Best of NAMA Ceremony Jan. 17

The Region IV Best of NAMA Ceremony will take place this Thursday, January 17 at The Abbey Resort, 269 Fontana Blvd., Fontana, WI 53125 (on the western shore of Lake Geneva).

The Region IV Ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the awards presentation at 7:30 p.m.

Cost for the ceremony is $65.00 per person.

The Region II Best of NAMA Awards will take place, Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at the VooDoo Lounge at Harrah’s Casino, One Riverboat Drive, North Kansas City, MO 64116.

Prior to the Region IV Ceremony, Badger NAMA will be hosting the Wisconsin Ag Outlook Forum from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the UW-Madison Campus, 1550 Linden Drive, Madison

Bruce Jones, a UW-Madison Agricultural Economics professor will provide a summary of the financial outlook for Wisconsin’s agriculture industry, and moderate a discussion on other subject areas found in the 2008 report, including:

Region III Leads the Charge

Region III Best of Show AdvertisingNearly 150 attendees celebrated agriculture’s most notable advertising and public relations triumphs of last year at the Region III Best of NAMA Ceremony on January 10.

The event was held at The Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom, in Golden Valley, MN.
