Nearly 1,100 agrimarketers are in attendance at this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s conference \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the largest crowd since 2000.  <\/p>\n<p>KFRM\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Kyle Bauer and Northern Ag Network\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Taylor Brown emceed Wednesday evening\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Best of NAMA awards ceremony.  Out of 1,271 entries that advanced through regional and national competition, three entries emerged as Best of Show winners at last night\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ceremony. University of Florida, New Mexico State University, University of Tennessee-Knoxville, Iowa State University, University of Delaware and University of Wisconsin-Madison will compete on Thursday afternoon for the 2008 title.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees of this morning\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s general sessions were treated to two outstanding presentations by Dan Heath, co-author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Made to Stick:  Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die;\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and Barry Libert, CEO of Shared Insights, LLC, who convinced us that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153WE\u00e2\u20ac\u009d are smarter than \u00e2\u20ac\u0153ME,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d by unleashing the power of crowds in your business.  <\/p>\n<p>In addition, Dave Rhylander, Monsanto, was recognized as NAMA Marketer of the Year and Rick Tolman, National Corn Growers Association, was awarded NAMA\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Agribusiness Leader of the Year award.  <\/p>\n<p>For more information on the day\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s events, log on to our conference blog at www.agwired.com.  <\/p>\n<p>Wish you were in Kansas City with us.
