ABEF GOLF OUTING
\n<\/strong>The ABEF annual Golf Outing officially kicked off the 2012 Agri-Marketing Conference on Tuesday, April 17th at The National Golf Course in Kansas City.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

Golfers enjoyed a beautiful day for the golf outing.\u00c2\u00a0 Taking third place was Doug Catt,\u00c2\u00a0Jim Arnold, Shawn Brook, and Larry Childs. Second place team was Leigh Ann Cleaver, Doug Marnell, Chet Slump, and Jeff Jackson.\u00c2\u00a0 And taking first was Les Kahl, Roger Reierson, Sheridyn Greenwalt and Rick Phillips.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Thanks to all\u00c2\u00a0for coming out and\u00c2\u00a0supporting the Student NAMA Careers Program and a special thanks\u00c2\u00a0 to the sponsors of the ABEF Golf Outing: Penton Media, Fastline, Successful Farming, and Bock &\u00c2\u00a0Associates.<\/p>\n

ABEF AUCTION
\n<\/strong>The ABEF Silent and On-line Media Auction raised a\u00c2\u00a0total of\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0$50,700 for the Student Careers Program.\u00c2\u00a0 A special thanks to all who donated and bid on items.<\/p>\n

WALL OF WINE GIVEAWAY
\n<\/strong>New this year – the NAMA Executive Committee and the ABEF Operating committee\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0donated over\u00c2\u00a0two cases\u00c2\u00a0of wine\u00c2\u00a0to be given away to one lucky\u00c2\u00a0indivual\u00c2\u00a0who\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0renewed\u00c2\u00a0their century club membership before or during conference.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Over\u00c2\u00a070 members signed up or\u00c2\u00a0renewed and the lucky winner was\u00c2\u00a0Leah\u00c2\u00a0Brakke!\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

ABEF STUDENT RAFFLE
\n<\/strong>Over $3,300 was raised from the student raffle\u00c2\u00a0with Bill Smith\u00c2\u00a0of \u00c2\u00a0Helena\u00c2\u00a0Chemical winning\u00c2\u00a0 the Vizio 55″ Flat Screen TV courtesy of\u00c2\u00a0 Penton Media.\u00c2\u00a0 A portion of the money raised\u00c2\u00a0will help cover student expenses for next year’s conference.\u00c2\u00a0 The top school selling the most raffle tickets was Delaware Valley College.<\/p>\n
