{"id":1508,"date":"2009-10-20T08:16:23","date_gmt":"2009-10-20T15:16:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.namablog.org\/?p=1508"},"modified":"2009-10-20T08:16:23","modified_gmt":"2009-10-20T15:16:23","slug":"heartland-tours-brandt-consolidated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.namablog.org\/?p=1508","title":{"rendered":"Heartland Tours Brandt Consolidated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1515\" title=\"hrt10-13-09\" src=\"https:\/\/www.namablog.org\/images\/\/hrt10-13-091.jpg\" alt=\"hrt10-13-09\" width=\"300\" height=\"213\" \/>The Heartland NAMA chapter as well as student NAMA members and advisors from Illinois State University, toured Brand Consolidated, Inc. on October 13.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting kicked off with lunch followed by a short tour of Brandt Headquarters, which was moved into Springfield, IL in June of 2007 after outgrowing its facility in Pleasant Plains, IL.<\/p>\n<p>Rod Riech, from Brandt Marketing, gave a presentation on the history and background of Brandt and its three divisions and how each division supports each other and how they each reach separate markets.\u00c2\u00a0 Following the same theme, we then went into Brandt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s expansion via domestic acquisitions and international distributors &#8211; part of Brandt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s aggressive growth strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The second leg of the presentation was given by Ed Corrigan, Brandt Agronomist, and Pat Schaddel, Technical Support Manager.\u00c2\u00a0 The retail agronomy division of Brandt has put a lot into its R &amp; D over the past several years.\u00c2\u00a0 From this, they have developed the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Total Acre\u00e2\u20ac\u009d marketing strategy.\u00c2\u00a0 This is a marketing concept focused on Brandt\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s support systems \u00e2\u20ac\u201c seed, fertilizer, custom application, precision ag, etc., \u00e2\u20ac\u201c \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Total Acre\u00e2\u20ac\u009d cover by Brandt.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Riech and Julie Reynolds, Executive Assistant, went through some of the branding exercises that Brandt has implemented over the last few years.\u00c2\u00a0 Some of the details associated with the branding exercise focused on a consistent image and etiquette to be recognized by consumers, and the customer service to back it up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Heartland NAMA chapter as well as student NAMA members and advisors from Illinois State University, toured Brand Consolidated, Inc. on October 13.
