Pre-Forum Session Packed

Written by Chuck on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 , 12:59 pm

NAMA Agribusiness ForumThe pre-Forum session is standing room only! More chairs were needed for all the people who are here for this first presentation.

Michelle Salomon, Harris Interactive, is presenting the ABM Agri-Council Reader Survey. There seems to be a high level of interest in the subject.

Keep in mind that the blog has a comment feature that allows you to post your own comments. Feel free to add comments to any post through the event and I hope you like what you see.

NAMA Agribusiness ForumI would have shown the registration table but then you would have seen blue jeans. I promised not to show them but I didn’t promise not to mention them. Registration is getting busier as we near time for the pre-Forum session.

NAMA Agribusiness ForumSome board members aren’t paying attention. Actually, I distracted Frank Timberlake while he was considering the weighty matters of national NAMA business.

Board Meeting In Progress

NAMA Agribusiness ForumWell, I guess you could say “Let the games begin.” But we’re here to learn not play. Prior to the Forum the board is meeting. I don’t have a wide angle lens so you can’t see everybody.

They all looked very content (just ate lunch) and looked like they were awake.

Missouri Sunrise

Missouri SunriseOn the way to Kansas City this is what the sunrise looked like this morning a couple hours to the east of the city. I thought it looked very cool and thought you might enjoy it.

I’m actually checked in and ready to start wandering around and see who’s here already.

Almost Time To Leave

Written by Chuck on Monday, November 7, 2005 , 11:11 am

It’s just about time to head to Kansas City. I’ve got an overnight stop on the way but will be there tomorrow by noon. The first event is a “pre” Forum presentation:

Pre-Forum Session (1:30-2:30 p.m.)
What Do Readers Want? ABM Agri-Council Reader Survey
This pre-forum session will present the latest findings from the survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of the American Business Media Agri Council on how producers use different ag media.

Michelle Salomon, Harris Interactive

I missed this presentation at the Ag Media Summit earlier this summer so I’m glad we get the opportunity to see it in KC.
