Well, I guess you could say “Let the games begin.” But we’re here to learn not play. Prior to the Forum the board is meeting. I don’t have a wide angle lens so you can’t see everybody.
They all looked very content (just ate lunch) and looked like they were awake.
On the way to Kansas City this is what the sunrise looked like this morning a couple hours to the east of the city. I thought it looked very cool and thought you might enjoy it.
I’m actually checked in and ready to start wandering around and see who’s here already.
It’s just about time to head to Kansas City. I’ve got an overnight stop on the way but will be there tomorrow by noon. The first event is a “pre” Forum presentation:
Pre-Forum Session (1:30-2:30 p.m.)
What Do Readers Want? ABM Agri-Council Reader Survey
This pre-forum session will present the latest findings from the survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of the American Business Media Agri Council on how producers use different ag media.
Michelle Salomon, Harris Interactive
I missed this presentation at the Ag Media Summit earlier this summer so I’m glad we get the opportunity to see it in KC.
Hello and welcome to NAMA Connect, the official NAMA blog. Let’s get this thing kick started! I’m Chuck Zimmerman and I’ll be blogging the Agribusiness Forum for you right here. Let me know if there’s anything in particular you want to see or hear. I’ll be taking pictures to post here and doing some interviews.
In fact, let’s start this thing off with an interview with the Agribusiness Forum chairman himself, Scott Kurfman. Scott is team lead for AdFarm and has put together a great conference for us this year. In our interview he talks about the effort that went into organizing the conference and what we can expect from the program.
You can listen to my interview with Scott right here: Kurfman Interview (3.8MB MP3 File)
